I know you had a first-hand role in uncovering the truth about this fellow, and I just wanted to confirm a few things so I can update the records and assuage my own curious nature.
1. Is it true that he was a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative, and that we sent him undercover into a criminal organization as a bogus supervillain, and eventually he snapped and started his criminal activity in earnest?
2. Is it true that the prehensile vibranium coils that give him his the lashing, gripping capabilities of his namesake were designed by Justin Hammer?
3. Is it true that he has a daughter who is now an adult, and you lied to her and told her he was dead to spare her the horror of knowing that he was running around in a funny costume, pretending to be a snake and hiring out his services as a hit man and mercenary?
Words fail me. I know we spend our entire careers in a moral gray area here at S.H.I.E.L.D., but this seems especially dubious.
I really wonder about this place sometimes.
